About Tom Bell
I was born in Santa Fe, NM. Since I was raised in the high desert country of New Mexico, I developed a lifetime love affair with the clean air and big spaces. My career has been varied and most rewarding, from refrigeration and electrical contracting, general contracting and plumbing, to radiation detection instrumentation, to a 30 year career in aircraft electronics.
I have rafted many of the gold medal rivers of Colorado and spent two seasons in Alaska guiding and maintaining a 5 star guest lodge. I am a certified fly-casting instructor, a certified white water raft guide, licensed pilot and model plane pilot. I have worked in Puerto Rico, Chicago and Louisiana doing FEMA inspections. I spent six years as a regional supervisor for a class action mediation company.
My affiliation with the Realtors of Central Colorado has been a most rewarding experience. I have coordinated three habitat for humanity work days, serve on the MLS board, the Committee to Combine San Luis Valley & Chaffee boards. I have served on the board for 5 years. The realtor friends I have made while on the board have enriched my career as well as my personal life. The families I have helped to fulfill their dreams have become good friends and I truly enjoy being part of my clients’ journeys. I am honored to serve as a director of Realtors of Central Colorado Board.
